Build the thing, then build the people who run it
A six-month development programme for incoming operators, run with zero attrition.
Context
Prospective retail franchisees were being brought into the network without a structured route into how the operation, its product suite and its framework actually worked.
Intervention
Created a six-month development programme integrating them into operations, sized each cycle against the company's one-to-three-year growth targets.
How it was proven
The cycle run personally had zero drop-outs, against at least one in every previous cycle, and first-month growth above the historical average — measured as new client acquisition, operational efficiency, quote volume and referral generation.
Outcome
- 10–15 participants per cycle, sized to growth targets.
- Zero attrition in the personally-run cycle, against a prior baseline of at least one.
- First-month growth above the historical average on four measures.
Why it matters
Enablement is the adoption mechanism. A programme that keeps its participants is more credible than one that recruits more of them.
